Previz & animatics

Why previz?

The primary goal of previsualization is to help filmmakers, directors, and other key crew members plan and visualize the intended outcome of a film or scene before committing extensive resources to actual production. Animatics are a step beyond storyboards. They involve adding basic movement and timing to the storyboard panels.

Gnomeo & Juliet
Previz and final frames for “Gnomeo & Juliet 2: Sherlock Gnomes”. My job for Mikros Animation: Previz and Layout artist.

Previz for live action

In complex productions involving heavy visual effects, I create a 3D animatic in Maya or Unreal. This allows for a virtual environment where cameras can simulate shots with high accuracy.

Back in Action
"Making of" frames for “Back in Action”. My job for MPC/Netflix: London Previz Supervisor.
Game of Thrones
Maya Previz for “Game of Thrones”. My job for Destroy all Monsters: Senior Previz artist.

Previz for Vfx heavy films

During previsualization, I consider the movement of actors, camera positions, and blocking. This choreography ensures that actions and interactions are well-coordinated with editorial and stunt departments.

Aladdin
My job on "Aladdin": Pre-tech and Postviz.

Previz for mocap

On "Wicked" and "Wicked: For Good," I helped create the monkey transformation and other sequences.

Wicked
Concept art for the Flying Monkeys of "Wicked". My job for Framestore: Senior Previs artist.
