Rosengine — films that play anywhere, in any language, from one folder

WHAT IT IS. A browser player for cinematic work that plays a master — a folder of data — in any language and any framing, self-hosted, no cloud, no app. Rosengine is the platform; Röschen is the name shown in the player.
THE MASTER, NOT THE VIDEO. A Rosengine master is one folder: the engine, the picture (shots, elements, timings), the time (beats, cues, word anchors, one slot per language), art and icons, audio per language, subtitles per language, characters and vector animation. An MP4, a capture, a web deploy or an SRT is a projection of the master: regenerable at any time, never the deliverable.
FIVE RULES. Language resolves timing; aspect resolves layout; visuals are shared. Every language the film offers has its own voice and subtitles — I record English, French and German myself; every other language is AI-generated in my cloned voice and stays a draft until a native speaker has listened. One shared timing: every cue starts at the same master time in every language. Cues name words, not seconds. The picture is data: no string is typed into the player; a copy change is a sheet change and a re-export.
WHAT A VIEWER SEES. A poster slate with a play button, a speaker that is the volume, and a gear that opens the languages. The start language is the browser's; a link ending ?lang=fr always wins. Only that one language is downloaded at load. The ready line under the play button says, in the viewer's language, what was not streamed: "English downloaded ✓ · 3 views ≈ 93 MB not streamed · ≈ 1–6 Wh transfer energy saved". Viewers are counted, never identified — no IP, no cookie.
HOW A FILM IS MADE. Script (locked) → sheet, one row per shot → render and measure (voice, effects, alignment; gates where you pick) → picture and time files → verify → master → projections. Builds are numbered and judged on any device. The Bijalog 60 English master was locked at b072 on 17 September; b082 is the regionalised master in seven languages.
STATE. The HTML lane is built and live; 3D characters, Gaussian splats, lipsync and AR are in the same engine. Release: soon. The Bijalog film is the first public master.
